✰ Given :-

  • The substance having a density of 0.8g/cm3 has a mass of 64 gram .

✰ To find :-

  • Volume substance

✰ Solution :-

  • Density of substance = 0.8 g/cm³

  • Mass of substance = 64 g

As we know that:-

  • → D = m/V

  • Where " D " is density, " m " is mass and " V " is volume of substance.

According to question:-

  • → Density = Mass/Volume

  • → 0.8 = 64/V

  • → 8/10 = 64/V

✰ Cross multiplication ✰

  • → 8 × V = 10 × 64

  • → 8V = 640

  • → V = 640/8

  • → V = 80 cm³

Hence,

• Volume of substance is 80cm³

✰ More to unit ✰

  • C.G.S unit of density is g/cm³

  • S.I unit of density is kg/m³

Answer:

80 cm3

Explanation:

Density = 0.8g/cm3

Mass = 64 gram

As you now density = mass/volume

To find volume

so, volume = mass/density

volume = 64/0.8 = 80

so, volume = 80 cm3
