The substances obtained during extraction of petroleum follows the order of existence as natural gas, petroleum and ground water. Why is it so?

it depends upon the weight of the object as natural gas is in free state so it is lighter than petroleum. petroleum are heavier than natural gas but lighter than ground water so it come before it at last water heavier that natural gas and petroleum so it is at last
