Substitution Method:

Step-by-step explanation:

\ Given \ value:\\\\8x+5y=9......(i)\\3x+2y=4........(ii)\\\ Solution:\\\\8x+5y=9\\\\x=\frac{9-5y}{8}\\\\\ put \ the \ value \ of \ x \ in \ equation \ ii \\\\\ (ii) \ equation = 3x+2y=4 \\\\\rightarrow 3(\frac{9-5y}{8}) +2y =4 \\\\\rightarrow (\frac{27-15y}{8}) +2y =4 \\\\\rightarrow (\frac{27-15y+16y}{8}) =4 \\\\\rightarrow (27-15y+16y) = 32 \\\\\rightarrow 27+y = 32 \\\\\rightarrow y = 32-27 \\\\\rightarrow y = 5 \\\\\ put \ the \ value \ y \ in \ equation \ (i)\\

\ equation = 8x+5y=9\\\\\rightarrow 8x+5\times 5=9\\\\\rightarrow 8x+ 25=9\\\\\rightarrow x= \frac{-16}{8}\\\\\rightarrow x= -2\\
