The successive crest and trough of a wave 30 cm apart. Find the wavelength. Also, find the frequency of wave if 10 crests and 10 troughs are produced in 2s.

Wavelength is the horizontal distance between successive crests or troughs. So, the wavelength is 30 cm.
1 crest and 1 trough make 1 complete vibration. 
The number of vibrations completed in 2 sec=10
So, the number of vibrations produced in 1 sec=10/2=5 Hz
Thus, the frequency is 5Hz.
