But Wavelength is defined as distance between two consecutive crests or troughs.
λ/2=30cm
λ=60cm=60/100=0.6m
In 2sec , wave produces 10 crests and 10 troughs
in 1 sec it produces 5 crests and 5 troughs
Therefore frequency=5/1 =5 Hertz.
