"Suffix is placed at the end of a word to a noun, verb or an adjective.
Verbs are action words and there are certain suffixes in words such as –en, -ate, -ize which signify that the given word is a verb.
Let’s take a verb ‘govern’. When we add suffix –ment to it, it becomes government. Now govern is a verb but government is a noun.
