The sum and difference of two numbers
are in the ratio 9:2. What is the ratio of
the numbers ?

Let x be the ratio of numbers then numbers are 9x and 2x.

Sum=9x+2x=11x

Difference=9x-2x=7x

Therefore ratio= 11x:7x = 11:7
