Sum = 1/4

Product = (-1)

General form of a polynomial = x^2 - (Sum)x + (Product)

=》 4x^2 - x - 4

Solution:-

Given:-

Sum of the Zeroes = α + β = 1/4

Product of the Zeroes = αβ = -1

Now,

By Quadratic Polynomial Formula,

=) x² – (α+β)x +αβ = 0

Substituting the value of (α + β) and (αβ) in the Quadratic Polynomial Equation. we get,

=) x² - (1/4)x + (-1) = 0

=) x² -1/4x -1 = 0

=) (4x² - 1x - 4)/4 = 0

=) 4x² - x - 4 = 0

Hence,

The Quadratic Polynomial Equation is [ 4x² - x - 4 = 0 ].
