Step-by-step explanation:

Gven:-

the sum and product of the zeroes of quadratic polynomial are -¹/2 and -3 respectively .

To find:-

what is quadratic equation.

Solution:-

Sum of the zeroes = -1/2

Product of the zeroes = -3

Using formula:-

The quadratic polynomial whose zeroes α,β is k[-(α+β)x+αβ]

Here, sum of the zeroes=α+β =-1/2

Product of the zeroes =αβ= -3

The quadratic polynomial

=>K[-(-1/2)x+(-3)]

=>K[(+(1/2)x-3]

=>K[(2x²+x-3)/2]

If k= 2 then,

The required quadratic polynomial =2x²+x-3

Answer:

The required quadratic polynomial =2x²+x-3

The quadratic equation=2x²+x-3=0
