Answer:

sum of zeros

alpha  +  beta  =  - b / a

i.e.

- ( - 6 / 1) = 6

product of zeroes

alpha * beta  = c / a

i.e.

8 / 1 = 8

so sum and product of zeroes are 6 and 8 respectively .

hope this helps u

x²-6x+8

x²-2x-4x+8

[x²-2x][-4x+8]

x[x-2] -4[x-2]

[x-2][x-4]

x-2=0                x-4=0

x=2                         x=4

x=2,4 are the zeros of the polynomial

sum of the zeros = 2+4=6

product of the zeros = 2*4=8
