Answer:

What is an integer?

An integer is a number that can be written without a fractional component. For example, 21, 4, 0, and −2048 are integers, while 9.75, 5+, and √2 are not.

Keeping this in mind..

Let 2 number be x and y

x + y = integer

As long as neither of them contain a decimal value..

So The sum is an integer

Now let y = 0

x - 0 = x

So that is also a integer as long as it coincides with the rules of an integer

Hope it helps
