solution:- x^2+ 2x + 3 = 0

Solution :

Comparing

x^2 +20x + 3 = 0

and

ax^2 + bx + c = 0

we get

a = 1, b = 20 and c = 3

Therefore,

Sum of the roots = -b/a

= -(20)/1 = - 20

Product of the roots = c/a

= 3/1 = 3

i hope it helps you...

Step-by-step explanation:

+20x+3=0......................(1)

Comparing the equation (1) by ax²+bx+c=0

a=1 b=20. c=3.

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{-b}{a}

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - 20}{1}

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 20

 \alpha  \times \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}

 \alpha  \times  \beta  =  \frac{3}{1}

 \alpha  \times  \beta  = 3

Hence,

 \alpha   +  \beta  =  - 20

 \alpha  \times  \beta  = 3

Hope it help u ❣️
