Answer :

True

Given :

Sum of zeroes = \dfrac{-1}{2}

Product of the zeroes = -3

The standard form of quadratic equation for any variable x is given by :

P(x) = k{ x² - (sum of zeroes) x + product of zeroes}

where k is any constant like 1 , 2 , 3 , etc .

Quadratic equation for above condition is :

P(x) = k { x² - ( -1/2) x + (-3)}

 \tt = k( {x}^{2}  +  \frac{x}{2}  - 3)

Hence , the equation for the polynomial is true .
