The sum between two numbers is 60. Twice the smaller number minus 4 is equal to the
greater number. Frame a linear equation and find the two numbers?

2x-4+2x-4=60

now 4x-8=60

4x=68

x=17

now small number =17

big number=2x-4=2*17-4

=43
