SUM , DIFFERENCE , PRODUCT AND QUOTIENT OF A RATIONAL AND IRRATIONAL NUMBER IS IRRATIONAL (in general ).

( only in one case when rational no. taken in the operation of multiplication or division is zero then, the product , quotient will be rational )
