x-y = 3---------eq2

from eqn 1 we can find x = 11 - y

NOW PUT THE VALUE OF X IN eq 2

11-y-y =3

11-2y = 3

11-3 = 2y

8= 2y

4 = y

NOW x = 11-y

      x = 11-4

     X = 7

HENCE X = 7 AND Y = 4

you can verify it by simply adding the values it gives 11 and by subtracting it gives 3
