Let the numbers be x and y

By conditions,

x+y = 9 --------(1)

x-y = 7 ----------(2)

(1)+(2) => 2x = 16

x = 8

Substituting x= 8 in (1)

y = 9-8 = 1

⭐⭐Hey mate ⭐⭐

Here is the answer :-

Let the number be X and Y .

then,

According to the question :-

X + Y = 9 - (1)

X - Y = 7 - (2)

By adding (1) & (2) , we have :-

(X + Y) + (X - Y) = 9 + 7

2x = 16

x = 8

The value of X is 8.

So, putting 8 at the place of X , we have :-

X + Y = 9

8 + Y = 9

Y = 1

So, the required vale of X is 8 and that of Y is 1

Hope it will be helpful....
