Given, the sum of digits of a two digit number is 7.

Let the digit at the one's place be x.

∴The digit at the ten's place is 7 – x.

Original number = 10 (7 – x) + x = 70 – 9x

Reverse number = 10x + 7 – x = 7 + 9x

7+9x=70-9x+27

9x+9x=70+27-7

18x=90

x=90/18

x=5

Again...

∴ Original  number = 70 – 9x = 70 – 9 × 5 = 70 – 45 = 25
