therefore the larger no is 120% of x
=12x \ 10
so,
x + 12x \ 10 = 143
(10x +12x) \ 10 = 143
22x = 143* 10
x = (143 * 10) \ 22
x = 65,
therefore 12x \ 10= (12* 65) \10
=78
therefore the larger no is 120% of x
=12x \ 10
so,
x + 12x \ 10 = 143
