The sum of 2 numbers is 25 and their difference is 13. Find their product?​

x+y=25...........(1)

x-y=13...........(2)

Adding the two equation we get,

2x=38

x=19

Substitute the value of x in (2)

19-y=13

y=6

The product of the two numbers is 19 × 6= 114.
