Hello dear!❤️

Solution:

Let one number be x

Other number = x+15

A/Q

x + x + 15 = 95

x + x = 95 - 15

2x = 80

x =  \frac{80}{2}  = 40

One number = 40

Other number = 40+15 = 55

Hope this helps

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The two numbers are 40 and 55.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

Given :

Sum of the numbers = 95

One exceeds the another by = 15

To find :

The Numbers

Solution :

Consider one number as x

Second Number = x + 15

\boxed{\sf{(x+15)+x=95}}

\sf{\implies}\: (x + 15) + x = 95

\sf{\implies}\: x + 15 + x = 95

\sf{\implies}\: 2x + 15 = 95

\sf{\implies}\: 2x = 95 - 15

\sf{\implies}\: 2x = 80

\sf{\implies}\: x =  \dfrac{80}{2}

\sf{\implies}\: x = 40

\rule{300}{1.5}

Value of x + 15

\sf{\implies}\: 40 + 15

\sf{\implies}\: 55

\therefore The two numbers are 40 and 55.

\rule{300}{1.5}

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Verification :-}}}}

\sf{\implies}\: (40 + 15) + 40 = 95

\sf{\implies}\: 55 + 40 = 95

\sf{\implies}\: 95 = 95

\therefore The two numbers are 40 and 55.
