Let the unknown number be x.

X + (-14/5) = 2
X =2 +14/5
X = 10+14/5
X = 24/5

Given that,

sum of two rational numbers is 2

One of the numbers is -14/5

Let,

the other number be 'x'

x+(-14/5) = 2

x-14/5 = 2

x = 2+14/5

x = 10/5 + 14/5

x = 10+14/5

x = 24/4

The other number is 24/5
