Hey mate !!

Here's the answer !!

We know that one number is - 13 / 5. So let the other number be x

So According to the question,

- 13 / 5 + x = - 7

Taking LCM, we get,

=> - 13 + 5x / 5 = - 7

Transposing 5 to the RHS,

=> - 13 + 5x = - 7 * 5

=> - 13 + 5x = - 35

=> 5x = - 35 + 13

=> 5x = - 23

=> x = - 23 / 5

Therefore the other number is - 23 / 5

Hope my answer helps !!

Cheers !!

heya mate !!

here is your answer :-

_________________________

Given that ,

● The sum of two rational numbers = -7

● First rational number = -13/5

● Let the second rational number = "x"

According to the question ,

==> x + ( -13/5 ) = -7

==> x = -7 + 13/5

On taking L.C.M.

==> x = ( -35 + 13 ) / 5

On solving , we get

==> -22/5

So , the second rational number will be -22/7
