Step-by-step explanation:

A salary - B salary = 2000

let A salary be x

then b salary is equal x - 2000

3x/4 + 5(x-2000)/4 = 16000

2x - 2500 = 16000

2x = 18500

x = 9250

B salary = 9250 - 2000 = 7250

12000" role="presentation" style="box-sizing: border-box; position: relative;">x=8000andy=6000x=8000andy=6000.

∴" role="presentation" style="box-sizing: border-box; display: inline; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size: 16px; text-indent: 0px; text-align: left; text-transform: none; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">∴∴ B's salary is ₹ 6000.
