☯️ Answer :-

Therefore ,

  • B ' s salary is Rs. 6000.

 Step-by-step-Explaination :-

Step 1 :

Assume salary of A and B

  • Let A' s salary be Rs. X.
  • Let B' s salary be Rs. Y.

❍ Given :-

  • Sum of 3/4 th of A' s salary and 5/3 rd of B' s salary is Rs. Rs. 16000 .
  • Also , Difference of their salaries is Rs. 2000 , where B' s salary is less than that of A' s salary.

❍ Find :-

  • Salary of B in Rs.

Solution :-

As , their fraction is given , So we have to add either x or y with them .

 \rm \dfrac{3}{4} x +  \dfrac{5}{3} y = 16000

Now , doing L.C.M of 4 and 3 (Denominator) .

 \dashrightarrow \rm \dfrac{(3 \times 3)x + (5 \times 4)y}{12}  +  = 16000

 \dashrightarrow \rm \dfrac{9x + 20y}{12}  +  = 16000

Now , what happens that this 12 as denominator will go to R.H.S and will be multiplied.

 \dashrightarrow \rm {9x + 20y}   = 192000 \:  { \huge \}} \bf \: equation \: 1\:\maltese

 \dashrightarrow \rm {x  - y}   = 2000 \:   { \huge\}} \bf \: equation \: 2\:\maltese

 \dashrightarrow \rm x  = 2000 + y{  \huge \}} \bf \: equation \: 3\:\maltese

Putting value of x in equation 1 :-

  \rm \: 9x + 20y = 192000

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow 9(2000 + y) + 20y = 192000

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow 18000 + 9y + 20y = 192000

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow 18000 +  29y = 192000

Now , 18000 moves to R.H.S and becomes negative,

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow 29y = 174000

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow y =   \cancel\dfrac{174000}{29}

  \rm \: \dashrightarrow \bf y = Rs. \:   6000 \:

Hence, Value of Y is 6000 that is salary of B is Rs. 6000 .

 \sf  {\therefore }\: \bf B' s \:salary \:is\:Rs. 6000

QUESTION:-

The sum of 3/4th of A’s salary and 5/3rd of B’s

salary is ₹16,000. The difference of their salaries is

₹2000. If B’s salary is less than that of A, then what

is the salary of B (in ₹)?

SOLUTION:-

Let be A and B salary as x and y respectively

3/4x+5/3y=16000

9x+20y/12=16000

9x+20y=192000____1

x-y=2000____2

x=2000+y_____3

substitute in 1 equations

9(2000+y)+20y=192000

18000+9y+20y=192000

29y=192000-18000

y=174000/29

y=6000

B salary=6000
