To find :-
Three angles
Solution:-
As they given sum of the three angles forms a straight line Hence , their sum must be equal to 180°
5a + 4 + a - 2 + 3a + 7 = 180°
Keep like terms together
5a + a + 3a + 4 - 2 + 7 = 180°
9a + 9 = 180°
9 ( a +1 ) = 180°
a + 1 = 20
a = 19°
Finding angles :-
5a + 4 = 5(19) + 4
= 95 + 4
= 99°
a -2 = 19-2
=17°
3a + 7 = 3(19) + 7
= 57 + 7
=64°
Required angles are: 99° , 17°, 64°
Verification:-
Hence their sum should be equal to 180°
99° + 17° +64° = 180°
180° = 180°
LHS = RHS
