Given :

  • 3 consecutive multiples of 2
  • Sum = 18

According to the question :

Let the 3 consecutive multiples of 2 be ' 2x , 2 ( x + 1 ) , 2 ( x + 4 )

⟹ 2x + 2 ( x + 2 ) + 2 ( x + 4 ) = 18

⟹ 3x + 12 = 18

⟹ 3x = 18 - 12

⟹ 3x = 6

⟹ x = 6 / 3

x = 2

To find :

➳ 2x = 2 × 2 = 4

➳ 2 ( x + 2 ) = 2 × ( 2 + 2 ) = 2 × 4 = 8

➳ 2 ( x + 4 ) = 2 × ( 2 + 4 ) = 2 × 6 = 12

So, It's Done !!
