3
x+(x+2)+(x+4)=69
3x+6=69
3(x+2)=69
x+2=23
x=21
consider the smallest number to be x

saicharan06467: sorry
Sanjana5428: 1st number = x
2nd number = x+2
3rd number = x+4

x+(x+2)+(x+4)=69
3x+6=69
3x=69-6
3x=63
x=63/3
x=21

1st number = x = 21
2nd number = x+2=21+2=23
3rd number = x+4=21+4=25

In all these 21 is the smallest number.
ruth24: isn't it odd numbers, so how it is x+1 and x+2?
Sanjana5428: my answer is write one.i just did it above
Sanjana5428: yes, ruth24 is right.odd numbers should be not taken as x+1 and x+2
ruth24: the answer is 21.
ruth24: yep. thank u
