∵ We know that, every odd number is greater by two on comparison with the odd number before it .

The three numbers are → x , x+2 , x+4

\implies x + x+2 + x+4 = 87

\implies 3x + 6 = 87

\implies 3x = 87 - 6

\implies 3x = 81

\implies \sf x =  \dfrac{81}{3}
