Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

the sum of 3 numbers in an A.P=30

the greatest number is 13 (let a+2d be greatest number)

let the numbers are a,a+d,a+2 d

according to problem

S 3=n/2 (2 a+(n-1)d)

30 = 3/2 (2 a+2 d)

20=2a+2d  →eq 1

20 = a+a+2 d

20 = a +13

a=7

from eq 1

14+2d = 20

2 d=6

d=3

therefore common difference = 3
