Answer:

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT

Step-by-step explanation:

LET THE THREE NUMBERS BE a,(a-d) and (a+d)

NOW THEIR SUM IS -15 HENCE

(a-d)+a+(a+d)=-15

3a=-15

a=-5

NOW THEIR PRODUCT IS -80.HENCE

a(a-d)(a+d)=-80

a(a^2-d^2)=-80

a^3-ad^2=-80

put value of a

(-5)^3-(-5)d^2=-80

-125+5d^2=-80

5d^2=-80+125

d^2=45/5

d^2=9

therefore d=3 or d=-3

hence numbers become

when a=-5 and d=3

numbers are -2,-5 and -8

WHEN a=-5 and d=-3

numbers are -2,-5,-8

HENCE THEY ARE SAME

THEREFORE THE NUMBERS IN AP ARE -2,-5,-8
