The sum of 3 rational numbers is 10.If the first number is 4 and the second number is 2/3 less than 4 ,Find the third rational number.​

Let the required number be x. Then,

=(3/16)+x=(−3/8)

By sending (3/16) from left hand side to the right hand side it change to −(3/16)

x=(−3/8)−(3/16)

LCM of 8 and 16 is 16
