Allow the greatest of the four integers to be n. The remaining three will be n−3,n−2, and n−1. Their sum will be :

n−3+n−2+n−1+n=86

⟹4n−6=86

⟹4n=92

→4n4=924

⟶n=23

So the greatest is 23

Proof:20+21+22+23=86
