If the digits were lets say 120 divided by five so 24 then 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 + 27 so the third digit would be 24

Define x:
Let the smallest number be x
The other numbers are (x + 1), ( x + 2), (x + 3) and (x + 4)
Solve x:
x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (x + 3) + (x + 4) = 120
x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4 = 120
5x + 10 = 120
5x = 110
x = 22
Find the numbers:
1st number = x = 22
2nd number = x + 1 = 23
3rd number = x + 2 = 24
4th number = x + 3 = 25
5th number = x + 4 = 26
Answer: The third number is 24
