Answer:

let numbers be

x +(x+1)+(x+2) +(x+3)+(x+4)

According to question

x +(x+1)+(x+2) +(x+3)+(x+4) = 900

5x +5 = 900

5(x+1) = 900

x+1 = 900/5

x+1 = 180

Numbers are

x =179

x+1 = 180

x+2 = 181

x +3 = 182

x+4 = 183

Let the five consecutive number be x-1, x - 2, x, x +1 and x + 2.

Sum of these five consecutive number is 900.

x -2 + x - 1 + x + 1 + x + 2 = 900

5x = 900

X = 180

X - 1 = 180-1=179

X -2 = 178

X + 1 = 180+1 = 181

X + 2 = 180+ 2 = 182

So, the five consecutive number are 178,179,180,181 and 182.
