Given:

  • 5a²b
  • -4ab
  • 6ab
  • -2a²b

What to Find:

We have to find the numbers.

Solution:

(5a²b) + (-4ab) + (6ab) + (-2a²b)

Remove the brackets,

⇒ 5a²b - 4ab + 6ab - 2a²b

Rearrange the terms according to their degree,

5a²b - 2a²b - 4ab + 6ab

Solve the first terms,

⇒ 3a³b - 4ab + 6ab

Solve the second terms,

⇒ 3a³b + 2ab

∴ So, the sum is  3a³b + 2ab.
