the sum of 5th and 8th number of an ap is 38 and its 11th term is 32. find the AP​

a = First term

d = Common difference

n = number of terms

an = nth term

Given:-

a5 + a8 = 38

a + 4d + a + 7d = 38

2a + 11d = 38. ----- (i)

Now:-

a + 10d = 32. ---- (ii)

Solving equ i and ii (solution of equations in above pic)

we get a = 23 / 18

b = 26 / 9

Ap is 23/18, 75/18, 127/18
