Given-
The sum of 6 consecutive integers is 387.
Find-
Find the sixth number in this sequence.
Solution-
Let the six numbers be x , x+1, x+2, x+3, x+4, x+5
We know that , the sum of 6 numbers are 387
So, x+x+1+x+2+x+3+x+4+x+5
6x + 15 = 387
6x = 387 - 15
6x = 372
x = 62
∴(x+5) = (62+5) = 67
Therefore, in this sequence, the sixth number is 67.
