let the two digit number be x+ y= 12
and the mum obtained by reversing the number be 10y+ x
then according to the question
10y+ x= 10x + y - 18
9y =9x-18 ..............(1)
divide the (1) by 9
then ,. x-y-2=0.........(2)
x+ y-12=0.........(3)
add (2) and (3)
2x-14=0
2x=14
x=7
applying x value in x+y=12
7+ y=12
y=5
therefore the number is 75
