Given :-

  • The sum of a no of 2 digits and of the no formed by reversing the digit 110 and the difference of the digit is 6

To find :-

  • Number

Solution :-

Let the tens digit be x then its ones digit be y

  • Original number = 10x + y
  • Reversed number = 10y + x

According to the question

Sum of a number of 2 digits and of the no formed by reversing the digit 110

  • (10x + y) + (10y + x) = 110

→ 10x + y + 10y + x = 110

→ 11x + 11y = 110

→ 11(x + y) = 110

→ x + y = 10 -------(i)

Difference of the digits is 6

  • x - y = 6 ----(ii)

Add both the equations

→ (x + y) + (x - y) = 10 + 6

→ x + y + x - y = 16

→ 2x = 16

→ x = 16/2 = 8

Now, put the value of x in equation (i)

→ (x + y) = 10

→ 8 + y = 10

→ y = 10 - 8 = 2

Hence,

  • Original number = 10x + y = 28
  • Reversed number = 10y + x = 82

Answer:

82

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be xy

Then x-y = 6

10x+y+10y+x = 110

11x+11y = 110

11(x+y) = 110

x+y = 110/11

x+y = 10

x-y = 6

2x = 16 ( by adding the two equations)

x = 16/2

x = 8

x+y = 10

8+y = 10

y = 10-8

y = 2

So the number is 82

8-2 = 6

82+28 = 110
