then according to the question ;
x+(1/x) = 65/28
x^2 + 1 = 65x/28
x^2 -(65/28)x +1 = 0

(x)^2-(2×x×65/56)+ (65/56)^2-(65/56)^2+1=0
(x+65/56)^2 = 4225/3136 -1
x + 65/56 = √ 1089/3136
x = 33/56 +- 65/56
x = 98/56 or x= -32/56

x = 49/28 or -16/28
x= 7/4 or -4/7
