Given

  • The sum of pair of opposite angle of parallelogram is 156°

Find out

  • Find the remaining angle

Solution

Let the angle be x

Sum of opposite angle of llgm is 156°

→ x + x = 156

→ 2x = 156

→ x = 156/2 = 78°

Note : Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

Therefore, ∠A = ∠B = 78° & ∠B = ∠D

★ As we know that the sum of angle of quadrilateral is 360°

∠A + ∠B + ∠C + ∠D = 360°

→ 78° + 78° + ∠C + ∠C = 360

→ 156 + 2∠C = 360

→ 2∠C = 360 - 156

→ ∠C = 204/2

→ ∠C = 102°

Hence ,

Remaining angles

  • ∠A = ∠B = 78°
  • ∠C = ∠D = 102°
