Answer: 44

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be of form 10x+y

where x = digit at tens place, y = digit at ones place.

According to Question

(10x+y) + (10y+x) = 88 - Equation 1

(x+y) + (x-y) = 8 -Equation 2

on solving Equation 1,we get

11x+11y= 88

dividing both sides by 11,

x+y = 8 - EQUATION 3

on solving Equation 2,we get

2x= 8

x = 4

On putting value of x in EQUATION 3,

y= 4

Number = 10x+y = 40+4 = 44.

Hope it helps..
