The sum of a two digit number and the number obtained by reversing the order of its digits is165. If the digits differ by 3; Find the number.

Let the numbers be x and y
                                  x + y + 10x +10y = 165
                                             11x + 11y = 165
                                                   x + y   = 15    ...................(1)
Now , 
                            x - y = 3  .....................(2)

From (1) and (2) we get that, 
                                        x = 9 and y = 6
therefore , 
                   the no. can be 69 or 96 .
