Before answering this question, Let's see what they actually mean.

Additive inverse :

Additive inverse is the number which on adding to Given number results in additive identity ( 0).

Multiplicative inverse :

Mulruplicative inverse is the number which on multiplying to Given number results in Mulruplicative identity ( 1 ).

Now,

Additive inverse of 2 = 0 - 2 = - 2

Multiplicative inverse of 2 = 1/2

⇒ Sum of additive inverse and multiplicative inverse

⇒- 2 + 1/2

⇒-4/2 + 1/2

⇒-3/2

Therefore, The sum of additive inverse and multiplicative inverse of 2 is - 3/2
