☆ Equations formed :

x + y = 46

=> x = 46 - y ... (1)

x - 5 = 11 ( y - 5 ) ... (2)

(1) in (2) :

=> 46 - y - 5 = 11y - 55

=> 96 = 12y

=> y = 8 years

x = 46 - 8

x = 38

Age of son = 8 years

Age after 5 years = 8 + 5 = 13 years
