Answer:

26 Years

Step-by-step explanation:

Let  say  A's Age = A  Years

& B's Age = B  Years

Then C's Age = 96 - (A + B)

two years hence the ratio between ages of A and B will be 5:7

=>  (A+ 2)/(B+ 2)  = 5/7

=> 7A + 14 = 5B + 10

=> 5B = 7A + 4    Eq1

ratio between C's age one year before and B's age after one year will be 17:9

=> (96 - (A + B) - 1) /(B + 1) = 17/9

=> 9 ( 95 - (A + B)) = 17(B + 1)

=> 855 - 9A - 9B = 17B + 17

=> 26B   = 838 - 9A   Eq1

26*eq 1 = 5 * eq2

=> 26(7A + 4)  = 5(838 - 9A)

=> 182A + 104 = 4190 - 45A

=> 227A = 4086

=> A = 18

A's Present age = 18 Years

A's age after 8 years = 18 + 8 = 26 Years
