The sum of ages of father and son is 104 .Father told to his son when i was at your age at that time your age was one fourth of my present age .Find their ages?

Let the age of father be 'x'
And the age of son be 'y'
So, x+y=104
Now,
According to the question ,
x=1/4y
So, putting x=1/4y in x+y=104 , we get
y = (104×4) ÷ 5
y = 83.2
i.e. Father's age is 83 years 2 months.
And son's age is = (104 - 83.2)
i.e. 20 years 8 months.
