THE SUM OF AGES OF PRIYANKA AND DEEPIKA IS 34 YEARS. PRIYANKA IS ELDER TO DEEPIKA BY 6 YEARS.THEN FIND THEIR TODAY'S AGES

Let the age of Priyanka be x and Deepika be y.
It is given that the sum of their ages is 34.

So, x + y = 34 _(I)

Also, it is given that Priyanka is 6 years elder than Deepika.

So, x - y = 6 _(ll)

Adding both. equations, 
X + y =. 34
X - y = 6
---------------------
2x = 40

Hence, X = 20

So, the age of Priyanka is 20 years.
and the age of Deepika ( from equation. (ii), X - y = 6.
20 - y = 6.
y = 14 years).

Hence,the age of Priyanka is 20 years and age of Deepika is 14 years.

Age of Priyanka= 6+x years
Age of Deepika + Age of Priyanka= 34 years
x + 6+x = 34
2x = 34-6
x=28/2
x= 14
