The sum of angles of a polygon is (n-2)×180⁰

(n-2)×180⁰=x

180n-360⁰=x

Therefore,(n+1-2)×180⁰

=180n-180⁰

=180n-360⁰+180⁰

=x+180⁰

Similarly,(n-1-2)×180⁰=x-180⁰
